With Virat Kohli taking paternity leave after the 1st Test vs Australia, Chief Coach Justin Langer feels that the absence of the captain will have an effect on the visiting team. Kohli will leave for India after the first test in Adelaide for the birth of his first child. Langer added that he urged his Australian players to miss cricket if they were in a similar situation as Virat.
Langer went on to say that he hails Virat for taking this decision but warned Australia not to be complacent in the absence of Kohli. Australian coach also said that Virat is by far the best cricketer he’s ever seen in his life.
