After Instagram released a brand new short-form video-sharing feature called Reels, the corporate has now upgraded the audio function in Reels. They need to unroll three new features to make it easier for users to share and save audio clips.
According to Mashable, the Instagram Reels users can soon save audio clips, send audio pages over Direct Messages, and browse through new sections like ‘For You’ and ‘Trending’. The most recent update with the new features has already begun rolling out. Instagram has been issuing regular updates for the short-form video sharing feature even though it had been launched only recently.
Users can now send all the Reels that use a selected piece of audio through Direct Messages on Instagram with their friends. Through the new ‘Save Audio’ option, users can save sounds and music within the app and use them for his or her own Reels clips.
Mashable informed that ‘Reels’ creators will now be able to order trending songs and clips more efficiently. The users also will be ready to bookmark songs within the app and revisit later. Akin to Instagram’s save posts feature, one can tap the audio and click on on the save icon. All the audio files collected are going to be found under the Audio folder within the saved posts section on Instagram.
